WhatsApp provides a blocking feature for its users, where they can block other users ’accounts if they find it annoying or for other reasons. So, how do you know if your WhatsApp account is blocked by someone else?
In a statement on its website, WhatsApp clarified that it does not inform directly that users are blocked by other users. "We intentionally made this ambiguous to protect your privacy when you block someone. Therefore, we can't tell you if someone is blocking you," WhatsApp said.
However, WhatsApp gives some signs as follows:
1. You can no longer see the last contact or online on the chat screen. Last seen and online tells you when your contacts last used WhatsApp or if they were online.
There are several reasons why you may not be able to see your last contact: they may have set their privacy settings not to show this information.
Then, you may have set your privacy settings to not share the last information you see. If you do not share the last viewed, you will also not be able to see the last viewed contact. And lastly, you may have been blocked.
2. You can't see the contact's profile photo update.
3. Each message sent to a contact that has blocked you will always show one mark (message sent), and will not show a second mark (message sent).
4. All calls you make will not be connected.
If you see all the above clues for your contacts, maybe they have blocked your WhatsApp. However, there are also several other possibilities.
