Smartphones or cell phones are getting cheaper lately, with increasing quality. Unsurprisingly, the changing HP trend has not abated. Now when you change mobile phones, applications must also be transferred or reinstalled, including important ones like WhatsApp. Be careful, there is a risk.
Yes, often transfer the same WhatsApp account on different devices because the routine of changing mobile phones may be done often. According to WhatsApp's own explanation, there is a risk that you will be blocked because of it.
According to WhatsApp's official website, basically for now, one WhatsApp account can only be verified with one phone number on one device.
"Your WhatsApp account can only be verified with one phone number on one phone. If you have a phone with two SIM cards, please note that you still need to choose one phone number to verify on WhatsApp. There is no option to have a WhatsApp account with two phone numbers ,” says WhatsApp.
The same page explains the dangers if you change your mobile phone too often, followed by moving the SIM card and activating the same WhatsApp account.
At the worst of such a scenario, according to WhatsApp's FAQ page on "Using one WhatsApp account on multiple phones or phone numbers", WhatsApp users who do so can be blocked from the account verification process.
"If you often change your WhatsApp account on different devices, at some point you may be blocked if you want to re-verify your account. Do not switch repeatedly on several different devices and phone numbers," explains WhatsApp.
Unfortunately, it is not clear how many times the transfer was made until the WhatsApp account was decided to be blocked. It is also not stated what the reason is, it may be related to account security or something else.
