Sony Reveals PlayStation State of Play Schedule, Ready to Launch Great Games

 


Sony confirmed the date of their gaming event, PlayStation State of Play, on July 8, 2021. The event will last for 30 minutes on Twitch and Youtube.
A series of activities will be held starting with information from third-party and indie games, which are currently being developed for PS4 and PS5. Then, one of the main appearances of the game made by Bethesda, which is Deathloop.



"This Thursday we'll take a nine-minute deep look into the world of Deathloop, which is part of State of Play. The event can be watched on the official PlayStation Twitch and YouTube accounts," wrote Sid Shuman, Senior Director, SIE PlayStation Content Communication Blog , Thursday (8/7/2021).





Deathloop is a PS5 game that brings the concept of a first-person shooter (FPS), where two assassins are trapped in a mysterious time loop on the island of Blackreef. Players will be presented with a series of games, from Colt, using his ability to sneak on the roof.



Sony has also confirmed that God of War: Ragnarok and Horizon: Forbidden West, will not be present at the PlayStation State of Play event this time. This is because for this role-playing game (RPG), it already has its own State of Play.



   

However, some previous leakers said that the event would later feature gameplay from God of War: Ragnarok. So, it was a bit of a surprise to learn that the game fans were waiting for couldn't be showcased.



In addition, there are other things that PlayStation fans will not be able to see, such as information about VR 2. This hardware, which is not expected to launch until 2022.



But to give you some fresh air, Sony says it will have the latest news on God of War, Horizon and next-gen PlayStation VR, in the near future. So fans don't have to wait long until next year if they want to get new information.
