How much does a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 screen repair cost?

Samsung also offers a subscription to Samsung Care+ at a cost of USD 12.99 per month for both phones. During the pre-order period for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, users can get Care Plus services for free for 12 months.


Samsung says Care+ customers who want to repair their screen but are out of warranty will be charged USD 249. By subscribing to Care+, users can also extend the warranty period of their phone for up to two years after the initial warranty expires.


At least the cost above is much cheaper than the cost of repairing the previous generation of Samsung folding screen phones. For example, repairing the main screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 outside the warranty period costs USD 549 , while for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G it costs USD 499 .


The cost of this repair is quite expensive because the folding screen is made of several layers which are held together using a special adhesive. It should be noted that the above fees are for the United States market, the costs in each country are of course different.
