Following the announcement of the presence of the Pixel 6 recently, Google officially released its cheap 5G cellphone called the Pixel 5a 5G. As the successor to the Pixel 4a 5G, this phone brings improvements, including a bigger battery and water resistance.
The design is still similar to its predecessor, but the Pixel 5a 5G does not use polycarbonate material but metal. Because of that, this cellphone has an IP67 certificate which means it is water and dust resistant.
While the battery has increased to 4,680 mAh from the previous 3,885 mAh. Like the Pixel 4a, this phone is not equipped with wireless charging support, Google only provides 18W fast charging.
The Pixel 5a 5G screen carries a 6.34-inch OLED panel with Full HD + resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. This cellphone adopts a punch hole whose position is in the upper left corner.
That's where Google puts the 8 MP selfie camera. While on the back there are two cameras consisting of 13 MP and 16 MP (ultra-wide).
There are no changes to the kitchen spur. The Pixel 5a 5G is still powered by the Snapdragon 765G with 6GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128GB of storage.

The Pixel 5a 5G comes in Mostly Black color which looks like a dark green. The power button has an olive green color.
Google provides four casing options, namely Black Moss, Maybe Moon, Likely Lime, and Partially Pink.
The internet search giant is selling the Pixel 5a 5G for USD 449. This cellphone can be ordered in the US and Japan starting August 26.
