Steam Deck Turns Out to Support Microsoft's xCloud


 Steam Deck, a new console developed by Valve, doesn't just feature games from the Steam Library. The reason is, it is reported that this platform also supports Microsoft's xCloud.

Several major players in the gaming industry have also been invited by Valve, in order to try their console. Including Phil Spencer, Vice President of Gaming at Microsoft, who said that Halo and Age of Empires games run well on these devices.


I can say the Steam Deck is a very good device. Game portability, screen size and controls are all great. xCloud also works well



Spencer himself tried the Steam Deck directly with Valve President, Gabe Newell and Scott Lynch, Valve's Chief Operating Officer. This is good news, after its disclosure, Steam Deck turns out to be compatible with outside gaming services such as, xCloud.


Given, Steam is an online game store. Then, xCloud is a service that can later offer Xbox games. Although, until now the details of his work are not known with certainty.


Meanwhile, the console made by Valve will only launch in December 2021. However, gamers can already pre-order it, by paying a fee of USD 5 .


There are 3 variants offered, ranging from 64GB eMMC, 256GB NVMe SSD and 512 NVMe SSD. The price is also different from each console.


A little information, xCloud is a streaming service titled Xbox Cloud Gaming developed by Microsoft. This allows players to access their Xbox Game Pass, on a mobile device.


Since then, the service has grown to support Windows 10 PCs. There are also rumors that the platform will be coming to rival consoles, such as the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
