Netizens mocked the Apple-made rags for $19, even though Elon Musk had a voice. iFixit also tried to dig into Apple's latest product to find out why the price could be so exorbitant for a duster.

In their recently published MacBook Pro teardown article, iFixit also includes an Apple Polishing Cloth teardown. How to clean this rag is easy, just by cutting the corner and examining it under a microscope.
From the results of his analysis, iFixit said Apple's washcloth uses a material similar to the inner layer of the iPad Smart Cover which has a thin layer of microfiber inside. Both types of material have a synthetic leather-style texture with a touch of downy hair.

At the end of its teardown article, iFixit said that Apple's rags had a repairability score of 0 out of 10 because after they were cut and cut, they couldn't be put back together again. Users also have to buy new and have to wait long enough to get a replacement.
