After Android, Netflix Releases Game on Apple Devices

Last week Netflix officially entered the world of gaming for Android devices around the world. And now the service has been introduced to iPhone and iPad devices.

Both iOS and iPadOS users can already download games on the App Store. But before playing the game users are required to authenticate their Netflix account.

Just like on Android, there are two game titles offered to Apple users such as Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Shooting Hoops, and Teeter up and Card Blast.

Another game title that will soon be on the list of game libraries is Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story which will also be coming to Nintendo Switch and PC at the end of the month.

The game is the first game title announced for Netflix following the game's wider launch on Android.

Previously reported Netflix's new gaming service is currently available for Android. Netflix has confirmed that the service will be coming to iOS, but the schedule has not been revealed.

In his official statement, Netflix VP of Game Development Mike Verdu said these games can be played for free as long as users have a Netflix subscription account. It promises these games will be free of ads, extra fees, and in-app purchases.

Some games will require an internet connection to play, but some can be played offline. It should be noted that these games will not be available on the Netflix Kids profile.

Although the choice of games offered is still limited, Netflix promises to add more games that are diverse and can be played by all users.

Netflix also recently acquired Night School, game developer Oxenfree. So it is possible that the games that will be offered will be more prestigious than the current ones.
