Google Blames LG (and Samsung) in Pixel 6 Ads

Google released a video promoting the Pixel 6, and in that video they poked fun at another Android manufacturer, namely LG (and possibly Samsung too).

The video is titled 'Why You Should Switch to Pixel - 113 Reasons', or roughly 113 reasons to switch to Pixel. In the video, Google lays out a number of reasons that make the Pixel attractive, although the majority of those reasons may be just jokes.

At the beginning of the video Google says these are 113 reasons why you should switch to the Google Pixel if your old phone manufacturer is no longer producing phones.

Google did not mention LG's name in the nearly 9 minute video. But the satire is clearly aimed at LG, and LG is no longer producing Android phones because the division continues to lose money from year to year.

Then there's the derision that Pixel is made by the company behind the search engine, organizing the internet, and mapping the world via Google Maps, not the company that manufactures washing machines (Google doesn't really call it washing machines, but they do show pictures of washing machines). in videos).

As is known, currently the only mobile phone manufacturers that make washing machines are LG (no longer manufactures mobile phones) and Samsung.

The Google Pixel 6 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. While the Pixel 6 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO pOLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz.

Both are powered by the Google Tensor SoC with 5G SA/NSA support, and feature the Titan 2 security chip. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro ship with Android 12, and Google promises they will both get three years of operating system updates and up to five years of security updates.

Both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have a 50-megapixel main camera with a Samsung GN1 sensor to capture more color, more detail, and 150% more light than the Pixel 5. There's also a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. The Pixel 6 Pro specifically also has a 48MP telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom and Super Res Zoom allows users to zoom in up to 20x.
