Android app containing Joker malware has been found again. This time, security researchers found seven Android apps that harbor the Joker malware.
According to a tweet from Kaspersky malware analyst Tatyana Shishkova, these seven applications are dangerous because the Joker malware can drain the contents of the victim's wallet.
Once the phone is infected, this malware will force the victim to subscribe to a premium SMS service. Victims are also threatened with getting bills in large amounts every month without their knowledge.
Shishkova said these seven apps have been removed from the Google Play Store. But users who have already downloaded these applications are advised to immediately delete them from their phones to prevent unwanted things.
The following is a list of seven applications containing the Joker malware that were recently discovered, as quoted from Phone Arena, Monday (11/15/2021):

To keep your phone from being exposed to hidden malware attacks, there are several things you can do. First, always check the application review column and its description on the Google Play Store.
In addition, check what permissions are requested by the application. Applications that ask for too many permissions, or ask for permissions that are not related to the application are suspect. Lastly, only download apps from trusted developers.
