Today there is a #NoNutNovember challenge circulating on social media. Many do not understand that this challenge is sexual in nature.
#NoNutNovember is by no means a food challenge, not a no-nuts challenge. This challenge is sexual in nature.
#NoNutNovember had become a trending topic on Twitter, Monday (1/11/2021) with 30,200 tweets worldwide. This trend is especially true in the UK. That seems to be where this challenge comes from.
Metro.co.uk reported, No Nut November is an annual challenge that started several years ago. This challenge tends to be ridiculous in nature and is aimed at men, namely: A month without ejaculation which in English slang is busting a nut.
Metro has compiled various ridiculous rules on social media related to No Nut this November as follows:
Not allowed to have sex or masturbate for a month
It's okay to watch pornography and get an erection, but no more than that
You can only have a wet dream, more than that is considered a loss
If you succeed with a total of 0 nuts, you win
Why is there such a ridiculous challenge? It's not clear why. That's how social media is, sometimes the cause of a trend to go viral is not very clear.
Many consider this challenge a joke or a joke. However, No Nut November is also said to have positive activities, namely a campaign about prostate cancer.
Criticism also came from sexual health experts. Tabitha Best told Metro that No Nut November provided a wrong understanding of sexual relations for the perpetrators of this challenge.
"No Nut November provides misunderstandings related to sexual relations. This is not a matter of frequent or rare, but the quality," he said.
For women, the older the estrogen decreases. While the men face erection problems. Tabitha said sexual intercourse is part of maintaining the reproductive health of men and women. In addition to mental health because orgasm helps mood through endorphins.
Tabitha suggested that instead of No Nut November being used as a joke, it is better to use this as a moment for couples to improve the quality of their sexual relationship.
"Thinking about slower, safer and sexier sex is a better focus for this November than competing against sex for a month."
