Apple Twice More Than Google

Data analysis firm Sensor Tower estimates revenue in 2021 shows Apple Store and Google Play Store revenue will reach USD 133 billion.

The revenue is related to in -app purchases made through iOS and Android devices for 2021.

However, Apple App Store revenue nearly doubled revenue from the Google Store which showed greater prices for purchases of apps and services in the Apple Store.

The ratio of the number of devices using this online storefront is highly biased towards the Google Play Store, with possibly millions of passive customers as we reported from Gizmochina.

Sensor Tower estimates that App Store revenue from consumer spending peaked at USD 85.1 billion, an increase of 17.7% from the previous year.

On the other hand, Google Play Store revenue is expected to peak around USD 47.9 billion in 2021 which is a 23.5% increase from 2020.

The overall activity in both storefronts shows that TikTok is the most productive application in terms of revenue for 2021 around USD 2 billion. TikTok returns show a 67% increase in performance from 2020.

YouTube trails TikTok in terms of overall revenue in the App Store and Google Play Store, while Piccoma, Tinder, and Disney are also among the top cuan producers.

The number of installed apps will see a continuation of the 3 to 1 ratio between the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Up to 111.3 billion app downloads are in the Google Play Store, while the App Store has about 32.3 billion for the year.

The number of revenue and downloads showed overall growth in both app stores with mobile game spending increasing rapidly.
