Throughout 2021, Apple has been busy with the launch of the iPhone 13, Mac with Silicon chips, and much more. Considering that 2021 is coming to a close soon, Apple won't be launching any more products this year but they have prepared a lot of surprises for 2022.
Through his latest Power On newsletter, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reveals the lineup of products Apple will launch next year based on information from sources.
The product that has definitely launched is of course the iPhone 14. Based on the rumors that have been circulating, the iPhone 14 will come with a new design and the Pro version will take off the notch design and carry a punch-hole design.
Do not miss the iPhone SE 3 which will be the cheapest iPhone with a 5G network. Previous rumors said the iPhone SE 3 will have the same design as its predecessor, but will be equipped with the A15 Bionic chip.
For computers and laptops, Gurman said Apple will launch a new Mac Mini, a new high-end iMac, an upgraded version of the Mac Pro, all of which use a silicon chip. In addition there will be a MacBook Air with a new design and an M2 processor, as well as an entry-level MacBook Pro.
For tablet products, Apple plans to release a new iPad Air and a new entry-level iPad. For the iPad Pro, which is the top variant, it will come with a new design and a wireless charging feature, which will be the first for iPad.
Don't miss wearables. Apple is rumored to be releasing three new Apple Watches consisting of a regular version, a cheaper SE version, and a tough version for outdoor sports. The technology giant from Cupertino is also planning to launch the new AirPods Pro, as quoted from Mashable, Tuesday (7/12/2021).
Lastly, Gurman said Apple would launch the long-rumored AR/VR headset. Recently, analyst Ming Chi-Kuo predicted that Apple's AR/VR headset would replace the iPhone in the next 10 years.
Apple typically announces new Macs around October, iPads in March and September, and Apple Watch and iPhones in September. For the iPhone SE 3, Apple is predicted to launch this phone in early 2022.
