Terrible Conjectures Why We Haven't Meet Aliens

Why haven't humans discovered aliens yet? Russian physicist Alexander Berezin, of the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET), had his own idea.

He calls it 'first in, last out', a key to the Fermi Paradox. He mentioned that once a civilization attained the ability to spread across the stars, it would definitely wipe out all other civilizations.

Simply put, the aliens may not be paying attention to us, and their exponential expansion across the galaxy may be more important to them than thinking about what will happen to us.

"They won't notice it, just as a construction crew destroys an anthill to build real estate because they have no interest in protecting it," the paper reads in preprinted form and has not been peer reviewed.

But who are humans compared to other aliens? It could be that humans are not 'ants', but the aliens we are looking for are the 'ants'. What if it turns out that we are destroyers of the future of countless civilizations?

"Assuming the above hypothesis is correct, what does it mean for our future? The only explanation is the application of the anthropic principle. We were the first to arrive at this (interstellar) stage. And, most likely, will be the last to leave," said Berezin. .
