This is how Huawei MateBook 14s & 14, MacBook Air M1 rivals

Along with the launch of the Nova 9 on the market, the Huawei MateBook 14s and 14 were also announced. This laptop is priced that is not far from its competitor, the MacBook Air M1.

MateBook 14s and 14 are packaged in a body with a thickness of 16.7 mm and a weight of 1.43s so that it remains comfortable when carried on a mobile. The appearance is made premium combining a sturdy aluminum material and a matte finish that is comfortable to the touch.

As the name implies, these two laptops offer a 14-inch screen stretch. The difference is, if the MateBook 14s has a 2.5K screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, the MateBook 14 has a 2K 60Hz resolution.

Even so, both still adopt thin bezels that make the screen to body reach 90Hz. Interestingly, Huawei can still embed the camera on the top bezel, so it no longer keeps it hidden in the keyboard.

Regarding the kitchen runway, Huawei has capitalized on it with the 11th generation Intel Core i5. Huawei promised to bring an Intel Core i7 version but did not say when exactly.

Meeting mobility, the HuaweiMateBook14s and 14 batteries are claimed to last 13 hours of use. For fast charging, a charger with 90W fast charging support is provided, just one hour to charge 0-100%.

Huawei also installed four speakers that pamper the ears with clear and powerful sound. There are also four internal microphones that can capture sound up to a distance of 5 meters, which is equipped with AI technology to filter out ambient noise and personal voice enhancement so that the sound during meetings is clearer.

Huawei's ecosystem provides its own advantages on this laptop. Not only easy file sharing and synchronization between devices, users are also allowed to install mobile applications in the AppGallery on the MateBook 14s and 14.
