Apple CEO, Tim Cook, apparently has been feeling the fear for some time. The reason is, he was stalked and terrorized by a woman, to the point that Steve Jobs' successor reported to the court.
The stalker claimed that she was Tim Cook's wife and that they had twins. The perpetrator, who has not been named because he has not been identified as a criminal, sent a photo of the firearm to Cook.
As quoted by us from the Independent, Thursday (27/1/2022) the woman has been terrorizing Cook for more than a year. According to court documents, he entered the area of Cook's home and also sent hundreds of e-mails containing threats.
Apple also took action to protect the CEO. They asked the court to prevent the 45-year-old woman from approaching Tim Cook because her actions were threatening and highly disturbing.
A judge in Santa Clara court granted Apple's request that the woman be barred from terrorizing Tim Cook, approaching or contacting him.
Initially, Tim Cook noticed around October 2020 that the woman had mentioned on Twitter that she was Cook's wife and they had two children together.
The woman has bragged about it dozens of times on social media. Not only that, it was noted that he sent almost 200 emails to Tim Cook. He even accused Tim Cook of killing him.
"I warn you to stop trying to kill me. You have forced me to buy this firearm. I will never forgive you," reads one email.
He had come to Tim Cook's house in Palo Alto and even talked to his security. She claims to want to live with him.
Tim Cook has admitted that he is gay since 2014. The Apple CEO is also known to have no children.
