Huawei has quietly brought the latest generation of the MateBook D15 to the market. This laptop carries specifications that are okay?
Despite bringing a number of improvements, a number of important elements are still maintained by Huawei. This can be seen in terms of the appearance of the MateBook D15.
The design of this laptop is still slim. It is only 16.9 mm thick and weighs 1.53 kg.
The screen stretch is 15.6 inches. Huawei makes the bezels around the screen quite thin, so the screen-to-body ratio reaches 87%.
It provides a relieved view when multitasking or watching entertainment content. This Huawei laptop has received a TÃœV Rheinland certificate because it is able to reduce blue light that can interfere with eye health.
Huawei is increasing its kitchen sector. The MateBook D15 is now equipped with a 10th generation Intel Core 15-10510U processor with speeds up to 4.9GHz, so it can support image and video editing.
Embedded in it is 8 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD to support multitasking and user productivity.
For online meeting needs, a 1 MP camera with 720P resolution is provided. Uniquely this camera is hidden in the keyboard to maintain privacy. Users can easily open it when they want to use it.
Huawei also includes the Multi-Screen Collaboration feature. Not only for smartphones, this feature can be used on Huawei tablets as long as they are running Harmony OS.
The MateBook D15 laptop has a USB Type C port for charging the battery. The charger itself is made portable so it's easy to carry, and supports 65W fast charging so it can charge 53% of the battery in just 30 minutes.
Complementing the laptop, Huawei embeds a better Shark Fin Fan 2.0 cooling system and greater air output. For the connection, WiFi 6 support is provided and to increase security, it is provided with a fingerprint sensor that is integrated with the power button.
