A celebgram scoffed because a sex doll company made a product that he claimed was similar to himself. Not only that, it was also promoted in his name.
The celebrity is Yael Cohen Aris from Israel. He said the Irontech Doll company had launched a doll that looked like it, even the make-up style was similar.
For this reason, Yael, who used to work as a programmer, demanded that the sale of the doll in question be stopped. He also plans to file a lawsuit.
"It's not that I hate the sex doll industry, the problem here is that they do it without my permission, without my knowledge," he said as quoted by the Daily Mail.
"It was completely wrong because the doll was tied to my identity. Not only did they look like me, they never hid the fact that the doll was developed based on me," she claims.
Yael himself is popular on Instagram with more than 1 million followers. He was a soldier, then a programmer, before deciding to become an influencer on social media.
"I started using Instagram and social media, then saw the potential. Moreover, my childhood dream was to become an actress so I finally took advantage of social media," she said.
Yael was surprised when he was told by his followers that there was a sex doll similar to him. He admitted that he did not want financial compensation but that the product would no longer be on display.
When contacted, the company said they make a lot of sex dolls so any similarities to a particular person is purely coincidental.
"In order to avoid misunderstandings, we will no longer name this sex doll as Yael. We will also ask our partners to do so," the sex doll company said.
