Youtuber and well-known boxer, namely Logan Paul, suffered a loss of USD 3.5 million. It happened after he brought a collection of Pokemon cards that turned out to be fake.
This was revealed from an unboxing video on his personal Youtube channel, entitled 'I Lost $3,500,000 on Fake Pokemon Cards'. Paul with a card collector named Matt Allen, along with the Baseball Card Exchange (BBCE) team, together opened a package that was allegedly the first edition of the Pokemon card.
Unfortunately, after the box was opened, not a deck of rare cards was presented in it. Located in Chicago, they even saw that it was full of GI Joe collection cards, as quoted by us from IGN, Sunday (16/1/2022).
"I'm a very positive person guys and I will always be the one to look on the bright side. Now I'm trying that, but it's very difficult," said Paul.
Since his announcement on social media regarding the purchase of the first edition of Pokemon Cards, actually many experts in this field have questioned its veracity. Because observers note that the box that Paul bought, does not resemble the previous form. Plus they think the seller changed the story of how to get the item.
This is also not the first time for Paul, poured a lot of money to be able to have a Pokemon Cards. In October 2020, he revealed two purchases priced at USD 200 thousand and USD 150 thousand
Then in February 2021, the number will be bigger than the previous year. The figure reached a value of USD 2 million, with a total of six boxes obtained.
