3 Names of Countries Competing with Indonesian Free Fire Athletes

Indonesia has shown enough fangs in the international esports arena, especially in the realm of Free Fire. However, there are three names of countries that pose a threat to Indonesian Free Fire Esports athletes. Although Indonesia has won the title several times, Riza Setiawan Coach of the GPX Team mentioned the top three opponents of the country.

"When we talk about the world, I'm first Brazil, the second is Thailand, and then Vietnam. Why is it actually from Brazil, they have a neat set-up and good rotation, good communication and have a good meta. We look in the mirror a lot from their meta. Likewise Thailand and Vietnam, everything is neat, the three countries are indeed worthy of consideration for FFWS," said Riza at the press conference 'Free Fire Esports Spin 2022', Monday (14/2).

Saeful 'EVOS.Sam13' Muharrom also agrees with Riza. According to him, the three countries are in a golden age. He also encouraged Indonesia to continue to develop in order to bring back the championship title.

"India has also often participated in the Free Fire World Series but has not given the best results. For the current season, because they have not been able to win the championship, they certainly have higher spirits," he said.

So what exactly is the growth of esports players in Indonesia like? Fresa Ansari Free Fire Esport Manager gave his opinion. Although unable to give exact figures, Fresa said there had been a lot of new talent in Division 2 last year.

"The enthusiasm of the community and FF players following it was amazing. Many new names, maybe only these teams registered, then many guilds made their own teams so that they also rose to the pro level. We'll see new team names and new players , we are curious, the team can then prove themselves," said Fresa.

Apart from Garena's encouragement to add athletes, many parties also have a similar commitment. There are many tournaments outside Garena by other organizers. In addition, the government's support in adding Free Fire tournaments is even more intense.

"So new athletes have opportunities, from remote areas to the national level," he said.
