Attention! WhatsApp Voice Messages Can Now Be Heard Even Though Chat Switching

WhatsApp allows its users to send voice messages. But to listen to it the user must be in the same chat room.

If you leave the chat, the voicemail will automatically stop and you have to start again to listen to it from the beginning.

This is certainly a bit of a hassle, but the good news is that in the latest WhatsApp update, it has allowed users to be able to listen to voice messages even if they switch to a different chat.

This feature system is similar to watching YouTube videos on WhatsApp, where the video will continue to play even if you leave the chat or switch to another chat.

Reported by us from Ubergizmo, the feature was previously available in beta and is now officially rolling out to all users in stages. This is part of some of the changes WhatsApp has made to the app and its voicemail.

Some of the other changes include the ability to pause and play voice messages. Whereas previously if the user stopped the message, they had to resume from the beginning.

Other changes also include the ability to review voice messages before they are sent. This is just in case something goes wrong or decides that it wasn't the message you wanted to send.
