Rumors about a folding screen iPhone have been circulating for a long time but until now the bridge of the nose has not been seen. But this doesn't stop designers and artists from imagining the foldable iPhone design Apple will use.
Like designer Antonio de Rosa who envisioned a folding screen iPhone with a clamshell design. From the artificial concept, this folding screen iPhone has a design similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Unlike conventional-sized phones which then open up into iPad-sized devices, this concept envisions the design of a phone the size of an iPhone that can be folded in half.
De Rosa made the concept of a foldable iPhone with a rear camera module that doesn't protrude, as well as a mini external screen on the side. This concept also features a foldable iPhone with the Apple M1 chipset and a portless design, as quoted from 9to5 Mac, Monday (14/2/2022).
The design of the folding screen iPhone that will be carried by Apple is still a mystery. Previously, there were two patents related to folding screen devices that were registered by Apple, namely a device with two foldable screens in the style of the Microsoft Surface Duo and a self-repairing screen for foldable devices.
A few months ago, tipster DylanDKT confirmed that Apple was testing several prototypes of the foldable iPhone. But they didn't want to rush into launching it and wanted to make sure the design didn't deviate from the current iPhone design.
Some rumors say Apple may release a foldable iPhone this year or next year. Trusted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo once said Apple is likely to release its foldable device in 2023.
What do you think, are you interested in buying a folding screen iPhone if the design is like this?
