Galaxy S22 Ready to Launch, Here's a Leak of Skills

 




Samsung will release the Galaxy S22 through the Galaxy Unpacked event tonight, Wednesday (9/2/2022) at 22.00 WIB. This is a leak of the phone's capabilities.

Although it hasn't been released yet, leaks of the Galaxy S22's capabilities have been circulating for quite a while, starting from specifications, photos, to the price. Here are the leaks for each of the variants, which may or may not be true. We'll prove it tonight.


Samsung Galaxy S22



The Galaxy S22 will reportedly carry a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. This screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a maximum brightness level of up to 1,500 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.


The Galaxy S22 and its two siblings will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chipset, depending on the country. This chipset will be paired with 8GB RAM and AMD RDNA 2 graphics.


Three rear cameras complete the Galaxy S22 with a 50 MP main camera configuration, a 12 MP ultrawide camera, and a 3 x 10 MP telephoto camera. On the front there is a 10 MP camera for taking selfies.


The performance of the Galaxy S22 will be supported by a 3,700 mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging whose capacity is not yet known. The phone also supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G.


The Galaxy S22 will come in four colors, namely White, Green, Pink Gold, and Black. This phone will reportedly be released at a price of 849 euros for the 8GB/128GB variant and 899 euros for the 8GB/256GB variant.


Samsung Galaxy S22+

The Samsung Galaxy S22+ has the same design and specifications as the regular variant, but with a bigger screen and battery. This phone uses a 2X Dynamic AMOLED screen measuring 6.6 inches with a resolution of 6.6 inches.


This screen supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz, brightness levels up to 1,750 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The battery itself has a capacity of 4,500 mAh.


The Galaxy S22+ camera and chipset configuration is the same as the Galaxy S22. The color variant is the same, only the body is heavier and has larger dimensions.


The Galaxy S22+ will reportedly be released at a price of 1,049 euros for the 8GB/128GB variant and 1,099 euros for the 8GB/256GB variant.


Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Lastly, there is the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This phone will be equipped with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a resolution of 3080 x 1440 pixels. Variable refresh rate 1-120Hz, brightness levels up to 1750 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection complete the screen features.


The configuration of the Galaxy S22 Ultra chipset is the same as its two brothers. The difference is, this phone comes with a choice of RAM up to 12GB and internal memory up to 512GB.


For camera hardware, the Galaxy S22 Ultra still carries the same specifications as the Galaxy S21 Ultra but with faster processing. On the back there is a 108 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide camera, two 10 MP telephoto cameras, each of which can take photos with 3x zoom and 10x zoom. On the front there is a 40 MP selfie camera.


The Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a 5,000 mAh battery capacity. The integration of the S Pen stylus makes the body weight of this phone penetrate the 227 gram mark.


The Galaxy S22 Ultra will reportedly be released at a price of 1,249 euros for the 8GB/128GB variant, 1,349 euros for the 12GB/256GB variant, and 1,449 euros for the 12GB/512GB variant.
