Google Markets Pixel 6 in Singapore, this is the price

The popularity of the Pixel 6 line has increased considerably since it was first released even though it is only sold in certain countries. Now Google is starting to market its flagship phone in Singapore.

When it first released in October 2021, Google only sold the Pixel 6 in nine countries. Then Google slowly expanded the availability of these phones, including in early February in Italy and Spain.

And now, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are also available on the Singapore Google Store, although Google isn't touting this. The Pixel 6 is available in Stormy Black and Sorta Seafoam, while the Pixel 6 Pro is available in Stormy Black and Cloudy White.

In addition to the two phones, Google has also started selling the 2nd generation Pixel Stand, 30W USB-C charger, and the official Pixel 6 case in Singapore. How much does it cost?

Pixel 6 price in Singapore

Pixel 6 - SGD 999

Pixel 6 Pro - SGD 1,299

Pixel 6/Pro Case - SGD 49

Pixel Stand - SGD 119

USB-C Charger 30W - SGD 45

For information, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are the first Pixel phones released in Singapore since the Pixel 4a released last year. While the Pixel 5, 4a 5G, and Pixel 5a are not sold in these countries, especially the Pixel 5a which is only sold in the United States and Japan.

Now in total the Pixel 6 has been officially sold in 12 countries, as quoted by us from 9to5Google, Tuesday (15/2/2022).

The camera is one of the big changes that have occurred in the Pixel 6 duo. This is interesting because the Pixel (in every generation) is arguably one of the best camera phones.

But Google has always used the same sensor in the previous four Pixel generations, from the Pixel 3 to the Pixel 5 and Pixel 5A, namely the 12.2-megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor for the main camera.

Well, on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, Google finally replaced the camera sensor. The main camera used in the two new Pixels, apart from having a larger resolution, also has a larger lens size and aperture.

The sensor size is 1.31" with an aperture of f/1.85. Google claims this combination can 'capture' 150% more light than the Pixel 5.

Then the camera with the ultrawide lens uses a 12MP sensor, and specifically for the Pixel 6 Pro there is also a third camera that uses a telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom and a 48MP sensor. As for the front camera, the Pixel 6 uses an 8MP camera with 84-degree coverage, while the Pixel 6 Pro has an 11.1MP front camera with 94-degree lens coverage.
