Is Atlantis Really Exist or Just Plato's Imagination?

There are so many mysteries in this world, that there are some things that are still being debated and have never been agreed. One of them is about Atlantis.

Atlantis is believed to be an advanced civilization and had advanced technology at one time. However, the glory of Atlantis was quickly lost, buried along with their island which sank under the sea. Atlantis was first mentioned by the philosopher Plato in the books Timaeus and Critias.

There are various versions of the existence of Atlantis itself. Such as Jalan Bimini in the Bahamas, Spartel, Helike, Antarctica to Antlantis in Indonesia. A number of researchers and scientists give their opinions about the existence of Atlantis with different disciplinary approaches.

The most famous is the scientist from Brazil, Arysio Nunes dos Santos. In his book 'Atlantis, The Lost Continent Finally Found, The Definitifve Localization of Plato's Lost Civilization', he compares several countries with the characteristics of the Continent of Atlantis, ranging from the area, weather, natural wealth, volcanoes to farming methods. Unmitigated, his research for the book took 30 years.

Santos finally concluded that Indonesia was the continent of Atlantis. He also showed Natuna Island, Riau Islands as the mysterious city. However, many researchers do not agree on this.

However, most scientists agree that the submerged continent in Indonesia is called Sundaland. This submerged continent is a shallow sea area between Sumatra and Kalimantan. However, there is no evidence of any civilization found at the bottom of the ocean.

Furthermore, the hoax exterminator site also gave his opinion. According to Turn Back Hoax, Atlantis is more directed to the composition of Plato as learning material.

"Atlantis is actually an imaginary city, not real. It was invented by Plato, as a material for intellectual discussion with Socrates. It is clearly stated in the book that discusses Atlantis, Timaeus, that Atlantis is a city of imagination. It is not real and does not exist," wrote Turn. Back Hoax.

If so, how are you? Did Atlantis really exist or was it just Plato's imagination?
