Netizens are furious to see Russia launch an invasion of Ukraine. Netizens were even more sad because when the number of COVID-19 cases began to subside, the Russo-Ukrainian war broke out.
They wrote their thoughts through their respective Twitter accounts. Given what's going on, 2.5 million tweets about 'Ukraine' topped the world's trending topic, followed by 'World War 3' with over 81 thousand tweets. The Russian President's name 'Putin' also entered with 1.9 million tweets, nearly 2 million.
"I simply do not have the capacity to go from the global pandemic to world war 3," vented @zeenatyahya.

I miss the days when I could put my phone down for 2 hours and not miss an attempted coup in the United States, the onset of a global pandemic, the emergence of a viral variant or the start of World War 3.

Russia has started its military action against Ukraine. So it is not surprising that netizens are ultimately worried about the potential for world war 3.
Meanwhile, Ukraine said it would defend its country on condition that it would do so in a peaceful and democratic way.
