When talking about headphone brands, most people will focus on the more popular audio brands such as Bose, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, Bowers & Wilkins, Sony, and so on.
But interestingly, according to a report from Statista, it's not those who dominate the headphone market in the US, but the Apple brand that dominates.
The report claims that based on what they found, Apple's AirPods and Beats headphones actually account for about half of the US headphone and earbuds market.
This is based on a survey involving 4,220 adults in which they found that 34% of participants used AirPods, while 15% had Beats headphones.
Apple's achievement is considered surprising, because Apple's AirPods and Beats headphones are not known to have the best sound quality as reported by us from Ubergizmo.
However, the way Apple designs their products allows them to work very well with each other, and it seems that convenience is what drives customers to Apple products, at least in part.
The survey also found that in third place was Bose, followed by Samsung, JBL, Sony, Skullcandy, and interestingly enough was from LG.
