Oppo started 2022 by releasing the Oppo A76. This is the first phone in the Oppo A series to get the 33W SuperVOOC fast charging feature.
Oppo A76 comes with a 6.56-inch screen and HD resolution. This screen has a punch hole on the top left side and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.9%. A refresh rate of 90 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz complete the specifications of the Oppo A76 screen.
Regarding design, the Oppo A76 continues the tradition of A series phones with the Oppo Glow design that emphasizes dynamic color gradations, and materials that are fingerprint-free and scratch-resistant. This phone has a thickness of 8.4 mm and weighs 189 grams.
Oppo embeds two rear cameras on the A76, with a 13 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front there is an 8 MP selfie camera.
The Oppo A76 is powered by the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset which is made with 6nm processing and is claimed to make battery use more efficient. This chipset is combined with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, with a microSD slot up to 1TB.
The Oppo A76 RAM capacity can be increased up to 5GB using the RAM Expansion feature. This phone also features a new ROM Expansion feature that can move application data to a microSD.
ROM Expansion is only for social media apps because it's the biggest. Either on Facebook, or on Instagram it was moved.
So that will be moved to external memory. Externally it is also large up to 1TB, unlike before stuck at 256GB.
The performance of the Oppo A76 is supported by a 5,000 mAh battery and is the first phone in the Oppo A series to get 33W SuperVOOC support. Oppo claims this fast charging technology can fully charge the battery in about an hour.
Oppo A76 runs the Android 11 operating system wrapped in ColorOS 11.1. This phone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the side, IP5X certification for dust resistance, IPX4 certification for water resistance, and a pressure resistance of 15kg.
Oppo A76 comes with two color options, namely Glowing Black and Glowing Blue.
Oppo A76 can be purchased starting February 18, 2022 and will be gradually available worldwide. This phone will be available offline at stores that sell Oppo phones and the Oppo Store, as well as online through the Oppo Store and Oppo Official Store applications available in leading e-commerce.
