Like its predecessor, the Oppo Reno7 still prioritizes portrait photo capabilities. But the quality is getting improved, even the portrait photos are claimed to be equivalent to DSLRs.
The Portrait Mode on the Reno7 5G provides DSLR-like bokeh capabilities and depth of field settings and creates a bokeh light effect on the background in portrait images.
He further explained, on the Reno7 5G, users have the freedom to precisely adjust the depth of field to resize the bokeh lights, creating various types of portrait effects.
Equipped with optimized skin tone detection, users can also easily create attractive videos with bokeh flare in the background for a look that was previously possible only with the lenses of large-diaphragm DSLR cameras.
With AI algorithms developed and enhanced, the Oppo Reno7 5G device can create different depths of field like when taking photos using a wide-aperture DSLR lens.
"Oppo's artificial intelligence algorithm mimics the optical properties of a DSLR camera to create bokeh light points of various sizes, colors and brightness according to distance and depth. The Portrait Mode on the Reno7 5G provides 25 levels of aperture size that can be adjusted from F0.95 to F16," Aryo explained.
Portrait mode also includes additional image enhancements that provide better quality, color, and clarity including detection and preservation of skin textures and skin tones, as well as natural editing effects to provide perfect portrait images.
Interestingly, the Bokeh Flare Portrait Video is updated on the Reno7 5G. Users are promised to be able to record videos with a stunning bokeh effect that is created when light is caught in the background.
