Roman Abramovich's Daughter Posts Stories Condemn Putin

The daughter of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is against the war between Russia and Ukraine. Through Stories on Instagram, Sofia Abramovich even openly criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for sparking a war against Ukraine.

Sofia posted a kind of poster that it was Putin himself who wanted war with Ukraine, not the Russian people as a whole. "The Kremlin's biggest and most successful propaganda is that many Russians stand up for Putin," reads a recent article in Stories Sofia.

Netizens also praised his courage. "Good, young man. The more your citizens do this, the better. It is clear that this is the mission of a man, not a country," wrote the netizen.

As quoted by us from the Daily Mail, Sunday (27/2/2022), Sofia, who is now 27 years old, lives in London and spends a lot of time in the British capital. He also quite often posts on Instagram about his activities.

The anti-Putin post gained attention because his father, Roman Abramovich, was considered close to the Putin regime and more and more demanded that Roman be given severe sanctions by Britain following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The British parliament, based on information from the Russian opposition, Alexei Navalny, identified Roman as one of 35 oligarchs who helped Putin.

Roman himself has denied that he was close to the Kremlin or that he did anything that would merit severe sanctions. Before the Russian invasion was carried out, Roman actually had a hard time getting into England.

In England, Roman, among others, owns a mansion worth around USD 125 million near Kensington Palace, London. Maybe that's where Sofia lives.
