As someone with Ukrainian blood in me, I am filled with sadness to hear that Russia has decided to take such a violent course of action against Ukraine. My heart goes out to all Ukrainians out there, stay safe and stay strong. ️

The war between Russia and Ukraine is heating up, the sound of explosions can be heard in all directions. Not to mention the Russian planes milling about, making the Ukrainian population engulfed in fear.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said there was still time to get Putin to stop invading his country.

"Putin has just launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Peaceful Ukrainian cities are under attack," Kuleba wrote in a Twitter post as reported by the AFP news agency, Thursday (24/2/2022).

"This is a war of aggression. Ukraine will defend itself and will win. The world can and must stop Putin. The time for action is now."
