Want to be like Ghozali Everyday? Understand This Before Selling NFT

Ghozali Everyday managed to sell his selfies for years in the form of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). Ghozali also succeeded in making a profit of up to billions of rupiah.

What happened to Ghozali managed to attract the attention of so many people and made NFT and blockchain a hot topic of discussion among netizens.

From this phenomenon, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) and GNLD Siberkreasi discussed it in the inaugural episode of the Digital Literacy Talk or OOTD entitled 'Knowing the World of NFT and Blockchain'.

Representative from the IDNFT Community, Syammas P. Syarbini, explained that the Ghozali Everyday phenomenon made many people think they could earn a lot of money in a short time through NFT. However, this was later refuted.

Syammas said what happened to Ghozali was an anomaly case with a very small chance of occurrence, around one in a thousand, but that does not mean it is impossible.

"Entering the world of NFT, you must focus more on the community and work, not on making money," said Syammas in a written statement from Kominfo, Tuesday (22/2/2022).

Meanwhile, a digital literacy activist who is also a public figure, Dennis Adhiswara added that the real potential of NFT lies in the technology behind it.

"The most important thing is to understand and master the technology first, consider the risks, and find a safe way. We must be smart, wise, and good netizens," he added.

The OOTD program is broadcast live on the Siberkreasi Youtube channel and has been watched by 136 people in real time. Netizens can also watch the rebroadcast on the Siberkreasi Youtube channel.
