Apple is making an event tonight, what do you want to release?

Apple will hold its first event for 2022 on Wednesday (9/3) early morning, entitled 'Peek Performance'. What do you want to release?

From the rumors that have been circulating, Apple is said to be releasing the latest iPhone SE equipped with 5G. If true, the SE line release cycle means it's getting faster. Because the first generation iPhone SE was released in 2016, and its successor was only released in 2020 or four years later.

And now, if true, Apple has released the iPhone SE which will reportedly have the same design as the 2020 iPhone SE but with a new processor and camera, as well as a 5G connection.

In addition to the iPhone SE, the new iPad Air also seems to be enlivening the event. Namely, with an update on the 5G connection and the A15 Bionic processor, similar to the 2020 iPad Mini.

Then there are also rumors about new Mac devices, such as the MacBook Air with a new design that uses the Apple M2. Then a Mac Mini with an M1 Pro or M1 Max -- or both -- processor.

Apple may also be showing off an iMac or even a new Mac Pro, as the Mac Pro (and iMac Pro) are now the only Mac line that hasn't been updated to Apple Silicon.

Here's the full leak, quoted by us from The Verge, Tuesday (8/3/2022):

iPhone SE 3 5G

This is the 3rd generation iPhone SE, following the 2020 iPhone SE. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst who usually has accurate leaks, the iPhone SE 3 will use A15 Bionic, 5G connection with mmWave, storage from 64GB to 128GB/256GB, with the same design as the previous model.

iPad Air

The new iPad Air got a new design in 2020, with flat edges, thin bezels, Apple Pencil 2 support, USB-C, and Touch ID integrated into the power button. That is, maybe the current update will only be in the A15 Bionic sector and 5G support.

MacBook Air with Apple M2

The appearance of the MacBook Air with the Apple M2 may also happen, because the MacBook Air design used now has been used since 2018, and became a guinea pig for the Apple M1 in 2020.

After Apple released the MacBook Pro 14 and 16 with a new design, it is not impossible that they will bring the design to the MacBook Air.

Mac Mini with M1 Pro and M1 Max

So far the existing Mac Mini is only available in the M1 chip, even with a design that has been used since 2010. Besides being old school, the body size feels too big.

In the past, the design and dimensions were made in such a way that it could be fitted with an optical drive, which is no longer used. If Apple changed the design of the Mac Mini, it should have been smaller and certainly faster with the M1 Pro/Max.

This Mac line may also be enlivened with the new iMac. Yes, Apple has indeed released an iMac with an M1 chip, but it is the successor to the 21.5-inch iMac which has lower specifications. Maybe it's time they released a replacement for the iMac Pro with a bigger screen and higher specs.
