Thanks to their hard work and the popularity of the works they produce, it's no wonder that many famous Korean artists have reaped popularity and success that deserves thumbs up.
Recently, two of the many popular Korean artists, namely BIGBANG member G-Dragon and singer and actress IU, have become hot topics of conversation. The reason is, the two artists have succeeded in becoming the richest Korean celebrities who come from the copyright royalties for the songs they create.
Launching Allkpop, the Entertainment Company Live program broadcast by KBS 2TV on Friday (11/3) then aired the topic of the richest Korean celebrities from copyright royalties. Apparently, the names G-Dragon and IU appeared as two K-Pop idols whose names were included in the list, you know.
G-Dragon himself ranks 6th with 174 songs under his name. Not surprisingly, the leader of BIG BANG is indeed known to have extraordinary abilities from writing to producing songs. Some of G-Dragon's hits include Haru Haru, Lies, and many more.
Then, IU's name followed at number 8 with 72 songs under her name. This solo singer and actress often creates popular music through songs and albums that successfully occupy the top positions on various music charts. Some of IU's songs are popular such as Celebrity, BbiBbi, and others.
Not only that, these two Korean celebrities have also collaborated, you know. G-Dragon and IU had released a song called Palette which was also included as a tracklist on IU's fourth album.
Since the first meeting of the two through the Infinity Challenge's Music Festival Special, IU and G-Dragon started their friendship and finally collaborated!
