Bill Gates Destroys a Luxury House Worth $43 million

Prior to their divorce, Bill Gates and Melinda reportedly bought a $43 million super-luxury house in San Diego. Now that they are separated, Bill Gates demolished the mansion and rebuilt it from scratch according to his taste.

The beachfront house, which includes 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, was completely demolished, neighbors reported. Then built from scratch according to the wishes of the founder of Microsoft.

The neighbors reported that Bill Gates occasionally visited his home project to check on progress. "When he came, he checked the house, walked in front of it," said a source.

However, some neighbors were not happy with the construction because it was considered too noisy, let alone carried out non-stop. "The development has become a nuisance," said one neighbor, as quoted by us from the New York Post, Sunday (27/3/2022).

"They were so noisy, my baby couldn't sleep. The construction of that house was a real nuisance to the neighborhood," said another neighbour.

In fact, getting a permit to rebuild houses in that area is already very difficult, if not nearly impossible. But maybe because of the influence of his figure and money, Bill Gates can get it.

In fact, when the house was purchased it was still in such a good and luxurious condition that some of the neighbors also wondered why it had to be completely demolished. The redevelopment has only been going on for 3 months.

"The house they bought was in good condition, so I don't really understand why he wanted to destroy it," said a realtor.

Bill Gates will reportedly make the house his summer residence. The work is likely to be completed in August. A spokesman for Bill Gates denied the house belonged to Gates, but well-known media including the Wall Street Journal called it.
