The Galaxy A13 is officially sold on the market. As the successor to the Galaxy A12, Samsung has provided a number of updates and improvements, but which one is interesting?

Design

Samsung changed the look of the Galaxy A13 from its predecessor. Adopting the display of the Galaxy A32 which was released last year so that it feels more attractive and comfortable when held.




The dimensions of A12 and A13 did not change significantly. Only a few mm difference will not be noticeable to the user. Maybe that will feel the weight, where the A13 is made 10 grams lighter than the A12.




Screen

If the Galaxy A12 has a 6.5-inch HD + PLS IPS screen. Galaxy A13 offers an attractive screen. The panel is PLS TFT measuring 6.6 inches with Full HD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.


Not only that, Samsung also provides Gorilla Glass 5 protection.


Performance

Samsung capitalized on the Galaxy A12 with a Helio P35 processor made with 12 nm fabrication. While the Galaxy A13 is supported by Exynos 850 which is made with 8 nm fabrication.


On paper Galaxt A13 offers better performance. Moreover, Samsung provides RAM Plus size up to its original capacity.


Camera

Both the Galaxy A12 and A13 have the same camera composition on the back and front. The difference is only the size of the main camera, 48 MP and 50 MP. The shots may not be too different.


Battery

Samsung embeds a 5,000 mAh battery in both phones. However, it is possible that the Galaxy A13 is more power efficient because it uses the Exynos 850 chip and already runs One UI 4.1 based on Android 12.


Both the Galaxy A12 and its successors are still equipped with 15W fast charging.



Variant

The variants of the Galaxy A13 on the market are (4GB/128GB) and (6GB/128GB). With the presence of its successor, the Galaxy A12 variants are (4GB/128GB) and (6GB/128GB).
