Samsung made a breakthrough in developing its newest S series phone, the Galaxy S22 Series. Apparently, this latest cellphone is made using fish net material that is no longer used.
From the information read on the official Samsung website, this unused fishing net is one of Samsung Electronics' innovations in developing new materials from plastic or unused goods that end up in the ocean (ocean bound) to become part of various Galaxy devices.
Samsung does this not without reason, because Samsung sees a lot of fishing nets being abandoned and thrown away every year. Unmitigated, as many as 640,000 tons of unused fishing nets are in the sea.
These ghost webs trap and ensnare marine life, damage coral reefs and natural habitats and can even end up in food and water sources. The abandoned fishing nets are also disturbing the balance of the environment at an alarming rate.
Therefore, Samsung is trying to collect and reuse these unused nets as a vital first step in keeping the oceans clean and preserving the planet.
The result is enough to make the eyes widen, because a series Galaxy S Series looks stunning with an impressive design. Of course, this innovation makes Samsung one of the companies that use environmentally friendly materials for their cellphones.
There are at least 3 Galaxy S Series lines introduced by Samsung, namely the Galaxy S22 5G, S22+ 5G, and S22 Ultra 5G. All three also have a stunning design. Even with the performance and the screen that carries the latest technology. For example, the vision booster technology on the Galaxy S22 5G and S22+ 5G to create a screen that remains immersive even under sun exposure.
This Vision Booster technology has intelligence that can automatically adjust the screen to light conditions. This technology adjusts the contrast on the screen so that users can enjoy the best view from the screen.
In the future, Samsung will include ocean bound plastics in its various product lines, and all of that will be embedded in its newest Galaxy S Series. Thanks to this innovation, Samsung also reflects its continuous efforts to eliminate single-use plastics.
Samsung has always pushed the boundaries of technology across the board and is currently looking to do the same with its sustainable practices. This new technological advancement marks an important milestone in Samsung's journey.
