Despite the old design, the iPhone SE 2022 is predicted to sell well

iPhone SE 2022 launched as the cheapest 5G iPhone offered by Apple. Sales are also predicted to be more in demand than the iPhone SE 2020, even though the design is exactly the same.

According to Digitimes analysis, Apple will sell 30 million iPhone SE 2022 units this year. This figure is higher than iPhone SE 2020 sales of 25 million units in its first year, as quoted from 9to5Mac, Sunday (20/3/2022).

The Digitimes report says Apple prepared less than five million components for the new iPhone SE in the first quarter of this year. But the number of units shipped will be lower than that figure.

In the next quarter, shipments of the new iPhone SE 2022 will increase to 11 million units, and the third quarter will be in the same range. New shipments will decline in the fourth quarter to make way for the iPhone 14, which will be released in the fall of 2022.

The presence of a 5G network on the iPhone SE 2022 is expected to boost the popularity of this phone, especially outside China. Along with new 5G phones from Samsung and vendors from China, the iPhone SE 2022 is predicted to drive sales of 5G phones in non-China markets.

By 2021, a total of about 280 million units of 5G phones will be shipped to non-Mainland China markets. This figure is expected to jump more than 60% to 450 million units, about 63.5% of global shipments.

Predictions about the sales figures for the iPhone SE 2022, which are forecast to sell well, have also been given by analysts from market research companies such as Wedbush and Cowen.

"We believe that the new iPhone SE 2022 will be effective in sales in markets such as China and India, where competition includes Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi," said analysts from Cowen, adding that the iPhone SE 2022 will probably sell 28 million units in 2020. This year.
