Jack Sweeney some time ago was a stalker of Elon Musk, namely by tracking the movements of the Tesla and SpaceX boss's private jet.
But now he has shifted his target to Crazy Rich Russia, aka the richest people from Russia. Sweeney is now tracking luxury jets belonging to billionaires such as Roman Abramovich, Vladimir Potanin, Alexander Abramov, and many more.
Sweeney shifted this target after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which turned the attention of many people towards the former Soviet Union, including wealthy Russians.
This 19-year-old teenager is certainly not the only person doing this, but the results of his tracking are arguably the easiest to access, as quoted by us from Afr, Tuesday (1/3/2022).
After receiving many requests to track the movements of the crazy rich Russian private jet, Sweeney immediately created a new Twitter account called @RUOligarchJets, whose number of followers when this news was made had reached 79.5 thousand, in just a few days since it was first created.
Sweeney relied on aircraft data obtained from a blog called "Radar Spots", which he then collected and shared through the account.
"The planes belonging to these oligarchs are very crazy. Their planes are very large compared to other jets," explained Sweeney when describing the crazy rich russians who use jets such as the Airbus 319 or the Boeing 737.

Of course it's not just the big planes that he's tracking. Sweeney also tracks the movements of helicopters, private jets, and of course jets the size of commercial jets.
Keep in mind, the data distributed by Sweeney is only data on aircraft movements. He did not share any other data, such as who the passengers were on the plane or various other contextual data
In addition to the crazy rich russian monitoring account, Sweeney currently has at least 15 special accounts to monitor celebrity movements, all of which are managed using bots. The bot automatically posts tweets when a monitored plane takes off or lands at an airport.
One of the bot accounts that has the most followers is the movement monitor Elon Musk, who has 97 thousand followers. Musk even sent a DM to Sweeney asking him to stop stalking his plane.
"Can you delete this? This is a security risk," Musk wrote in his message to Sweeney, as quoted from Futurism, Friday (28/1/2022).
"Yes I can, but you have to pay with the Model 3, just kidding," Sweeney replied.
The two continued to text, and Musk also briefly asked Sweeney how much money he got from the account. When Sweeney replied that he was earning less than $20 per month, Musk then offered Sweeney $5,000 to delete the account.
"I don't want to be shot by a lunatic," Musk said.
Sweeney then asked Musk to increase his offer to $50,000. The 19-year-old said the money would help him pay for college and buy a car.
Musk later replied that he would consider it. But until now, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla has not contacted Sweeney again.
