Google is reportedly testing the dark mode feature or dark mode with darker colors than before.
According to The Verge, Tuesday (8/3/2022) this dark mode color is not the same as the tests that have been done previously on desktop devices. Where later this color will be darker than the usual dark gray but still brighter than dark black.
Google's new dark mode is claimed to save more battery life than ever before, especially for the use of OLED smartphone screens. And hopefully users who are used to using dark mode will like it.
According to the Android Police site the latest color of this dark mode will be available in Google 13.8 beta version on the Google Play Store which can be obtained through APKMirror.
APKMirror itself is a file that allows Android users to download items that are not available on their devices or take the official route by joining a beta test group.
Users who want to try it out officially can also join the beta version of the test group. It is unknown when the dark mode with this latest color will start rolling out to all users globally.
