There is something special when you open the Google search page today (8/3/2022). The Google Doodle celebrates World Women's Day 2022.
When the play button is pressed, four animated slides will appear showing the current activity. The first shows a mother who is working at home while taking care of her two children.
The second shows women in the medical world. The third is no less interesting, featuring a grandmother who takes care of her garden while watching her grandchildren who are playing on the swing. The last slide shows a woman working on repairing motorcycle spare parts.
Today's Google Doodle is an animated slideshow that takes us around the world to give a glimpse into the daily lives of women across cultures. From a mother who works from home to a motorcycle mechanic teaching her skills to the next generation, every illustration described in today's Doodle are connected by a common thread about how women appear for themselves, their families, and their communities," said Google in its official blog.

"Life during a pandemic. The last few years have been difficult for everyone except women in particular. We usually celebrate women and their amazing past and present achievements, and inspire young girls to dream big. The reality of recent years has forced women to shift focus, adjust priorities and make sacrifices to be there for others who need it."
With his doodles, Maer hopes that women feel seen and appreciated for whatever they do and are doing right now. "Wake up in the morning and go about the day. Doing the dishes, keeping a job or letting it go, taking care of yourself and others. Those very basic things have been big jobs since the start of the pandemic," he explained.
"I want all women to be able to truly choose the life they want to live and receive all the respect they deserve. A stay-at-home mom makes the whole world for her kids. A CEO innovates and keeps his employees motivated and happy. Homeless artists please foreigners and enjoy their freedom. Driving a truck, fighting for women's rights, going to school or making food. We all wake up in the morning and we all have a purpose, big or small. It's all important."
