Gran Turismo 7 Makers Apologize and Share Money, Why?

Polyphony Digital, the developer of the Gran Turismo 7 game, apologized for the changes to the game, promised improvements, and shared the money in the game as an apology.

Not only did the game system change that made Polyphony Digital apologize, but also the downfall of their system last week after making updates to the game.

The change meant and complained about by many gamers is that it is increasingly difficult to raise money in the flagship game of the PS5, which is needed for many things, including to buy a new, faster car.

Gamers accuse Polyphony Digital of forcing players to perform micro transactions to buy in -game money using real money. For that, Digital Polyphony President Kazunori Yamauchi apologized in a post on the official PlayStation blog.

"The annoyance and confusion that occurred last week with our patch update had an impact not only on issues on the server but also on adjustments in the in -game economy, which we made without a clear explanation to the community," Yamauchi explained.

As one of his apologies, Polyphony Digital gave 1 million in -game credits, we were quoted as saying by The Verge, Tuesday (29/3/2022).

To earn the credit, Gran Turismo 7 players can access it in the Garage and go into the Gifts menu. This credit must be taken before April 25, because otherwise the credit will be burnt.

In addition, Yamauchi also promised improvements to the economic system in the game through a patch released in early April. In the patch, it promises a more balanced race prize, which he says will benefit all players.

He also promises more used and legendary cars for sale at one time. Then in the next update, users can also sell the car they have got, of course to help players in collecting money to buy the car of their dreams.

This blog post from Polyphony Digital seems to have received a good response from Gran Turismo 7 gamers, as seen from their comments on Reddit and so on.
