You must have heard the title of the popular TV series Meteor Garden, right? The series is the first adaptation of the popular Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango by Yoko Kamio.
The Meteor Garden series itself is one of the most popular adaptations of Hana Yori Dango, even the main actress in the series, Barbie Hsu, is also increasingly known after starring in Meteor Garden.
Not long ago, there was surprising and encouraging news from Barbie Hsu. The reason is, he will marry his girlfriend, Koo Jun Yup or also known as DJ Koo. The man from South Korea announced the news of his marriage to Barbie Hsu on Tuesday (8/3) through his official Instagram page.
Besides being known as a DJ, Koo Jun Yup also works as a singer and producer. In fact, he was first known as a member of the duo group called Clon which is very popular in South Korea and Taiwan, after debuting in 1996.
Koo Jun Yup wrote, "I'm getting married, [I] intend to tie the knot that I couldn't resolve with my lover 20 years ago. I heard about [Barbie Hsu's] divorce, looked up the number 20 years ago to call her. Fortunately, the number is still the same.
We're at an age where we can't waste our time lazing around, so I suggested we get married and she [Barbie Hsu] said yes, so we'll live together after registering our marriage. Please congratulate us on my late marriage."
From this statement, both Koo Jun Yup and Barbie Hsu fans finally found out that the two were reunited after breaking up from their relationship 20 years ago. The two have indeed confirmed that they were in a relationship at their young age for a year before finally breaking up.
Meanwhile, Barbie Hsu herself was married to a businessman from China in 2010 and was blessed with a daughter and a son. Unfortunately, Barbie Hsu's marriage ended in 2021.
