Universal Control is probably the most interesting feature that Apple has presented in recent years. Where users can control iPad and Mac using the same keyboard and mouse.
This feature is similar to Logitech Flow, but with better integration because it is delivered at the operating system level. With Universal Control, you can use the keyboard and cursor on your Mac to control adjacent iPads.
And vice versa, if you use the Magic Keyboard on the iPad Pro, it can also be used to control the Mac, either using the keyboard or the trackpad.

To be able to use Universal Control, a Mac needs to be running macOS version 12.3 and above, while the iPadOS used must be 15.4 and above. Then, both devices must have the same Apple ID, Bluetooth, WiFi and Handoff are on, and the distance between them is a maximum of 9 meters.

How to use Universal Control
Once both features are turned on on your Mac and iPad, place them close together
Move the cursor to the left or right edge of the screen
An animation will appear on the target device, indicating that there is a cursor "through" the screen
Keep moving the cursor in the same direction and Universal Control is now active
You can also adjust the position of the iPad in the "Displays" menu. For example, sliding the iPad to the bottom, which may be more appropriate if the Mac uses an external monitor.
Once activated, you can now use the keyboard and cursor -- either from a mouse or trackpad (any brand, not limited to Apple) -- to control these two devices. You can also copy files between the two by drag and drop.
