There is a video of a shootout that allegedly took place in Ukraine which turned out to be a hoax. The show is a gameplay of the game Arma 3 and the developer has also confirmed it.
"Dear Arma community! Be careful that recently, some videos of modified Arma games, appear tagged as videos depicting the current Ukrainian conflict," wrote Arma 3 Official, quoted by us from official social media, Tuesday ( 1/3/2022).
Dear Arma Community!
Beware that lately quite a few videos from heavily modded Arma games surfaced tagged as videos depicting the current Ukrainian conflict.
We are in touch with the media helping to fact-check such videos.

It is known that the short video had gone viral on Facebook, before it was finally removed from the homepage. However, footage showing planes striking a settlement has been viewed by more than 110,000 people and shared up to 25,000 times.
The video in question also briefly appeared on Twitter, where posts related to it garnered 11,000 likes and nearly 2,000 retweets. Even though in the end the video was taken down, some other users had already saved and re-shared it. But there are also those who provide education.
As did one account named Athorem. While attaching the trailer, he confirmed that what he witnessed was a piece of gameplay from Arma 3.
"This footage circulated on Twitter, allegedly recording from Ukraine. But it is a clip from the video game Arma III. You should not believe anything you see or hear today," wrote Athorem.
As is known, currently the conflict between Russia vs Ukraine is getting hotter. Russian President, Vladimir Putin has also carried out a massive invasion.
Many victims and the residents of Ukraine themselves, have shifted to take refuge in Poland. The root of the problem has been going on for a long time.
However, since the news that Ukraine will join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), it has sparked tensions in Russia. Plus last year, President Putin wrote a lengthy article, describing these two countries as one country.
He claims modern Ukraine was created entirely by communist Russia. Then saw the collapse of the Soviet Union in December 1991, as "the historical disintegration of Russia". This includes arguing that if the country led by Volodymyr Zelensky joins NATO, the alliance might try to retake Crimea.
