Square Enix announced that it was donating $500,000 to Ukraine. The donation was handed over to The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by the Russian attack.
"In addition, a company Square Enix Group, we have launched an employee fundraising and reward program, which is appropriate to benefit the Committee of the Red Cross, UNICEF and Doctors Without Borders," Square Enix wrote, quoted by us from their official social media, Thursday (17/3/2022).
"We sincerely hope that peace will be restored and those affected by the crisis, will regain a peaceful life as soon as possible," he added.
They are not alone in this humanitarian movement. Because Bandai Namco, also donated USD 850 thousand, to help rescue children trapped in the Russian invasion.
Riot Games has done the same thing before. They raised more than USD 3 million , which was donated to Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Where the amount, the result of a combination of game sales and internal collection.
