Intel has released the latest vPro platform on the 12th generation Intel Core Alder Lake processors, which promise the highest performance with the most comprehensive security.
"The next generation Intel vPro platform is designed with higher levels of security, as well as greater performance and manageability for any business. With the introduction of the 12th Gen Intel Core processors, we are changing the way people work with a performance hybrid architecture for business, productivity and multitasking, " said Stephanie Hallford, Intel Vice President and GM of Business Client Platform, in a statement received by us.
Like other Alder Lake processors, Alder Lake vPro also combines efficient cores with high-performance cores, which leaves users free to multitask and collaborate, and trust their PC to handle user applications.
The Intel Core Alder Lake mobile processor is also claimed to have a performance increase for mainstream applications by 27% compared to the previous generation, and an increase of 41% compared to its competitors.
For example, the Intel Core i9-12900 has 23% higher performance than competitors when using Microsoft Excel in conjunction with Zoom, and 46% faster when using Power BI with Zoom.
Connectivity support is also complete, starting from WiFi 6E and Intel Connectivity Suite, which are promised to provide a seamless wireless experience for users.
Memory support is also more up-to-date, namely DDR5 memory for desktops and DDR5 and LPDDR5 for mobile processors. Then the entry-level workstation class processor with Intel vPro Enterprise also supports ECC memory.
Of course, as an Alder Lake generation processor, Thunderbolt 4 support is also available, for laptop use with a single cable that supports 4K monitors, chargers, and so on.
In the security sector there is Intel Threat Detection Technology, which is a hardware-based ransomware detection technology, which can increase the efficacy and speed of detecting the latest attacks.
