iPhone SE 2022 releases, Apple boss judged to secretly support Ukraine

Apple just unveiled the iPhone SE 2022 and a line of other devices last night. In the event titled 'Peek Performance', the clothes worn by Apple CEO Tim Cook became a concern because it was considered a form of support for Ukraine in the midst of the Russian invasion.

Cook is seen wearing a blue top and an Apple Watch with a bright yellow strap. The two colors appear to represent the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

In his presentation, Cook did not speak directly about what is happening in Ukraine. But some netizens saw that Cook sent a message through his clothes.

"Just realized #TimCook wearing navy blue sweater + Apple watch with yellow strap shows solidarity with #Ukraine without saying anything," said Twitter user @niravmistry, as quoted from Mashable, Wednesday (9/3/2022).

It is not known whether Cook's outfit was intended to show his support for Ukraine. But this is not the first time the bespectacled man has voiced his solidarity with Ukrainians.

Some time ago, Cook tweeted that Apple would offer assistance to humanitarian efforts in Ukraine and support peace efforts.

Steve Jobs' successor also sent an email to Apple employees about the Russian invasion of Ukraine and explained the actions the company had taken to address this conflict. In the email, Cook said Apple would match donations made by employees to humanitarian agencies at two to one.

In addition, Apple also stopped selling its products in Russia and restricted some of its services. The iPhone maker has also pulled apps RT and Sputnik, two Russian media, from the App Store.
