As previously reported, the organizers of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia have used weather modification technology or TMC to make the weather clear. A rain handler named Rara Isti Wulandari also performed a ritual so that the weather around the Mandalika Circuit was sunny during the MotoGP race.
Bright clouds actually had convincing in the morning. However, by noon, dark clouds were already hanging over the circuit, officially named Pertamina Mandalika Internasional Street Circuit.
It started with a light drizzle around 13.00 WITA, until finally the sky actually spewed rain water at around 14.00 WITA.
