Based on a report by the Canalys research institute, OPPO dominates the smartphone market throughout 2021 and is the fourth largest smartphone brand in the world. The report states that the vendor managed to gain a market share of 22% for 12 months in 2021.

The same research states that OPPO maintains its position as the fourth best smartphone brand globally in 2021 and has a market share of 11%. Furthermore, Canalys research results inform, last year, OPPO managed to record a global smartphone sales growth of 22%, with large sales in the Western European and Mexican markets.
OPPO recorded that their sales grew by 78% in 2021. For the European market, OPPO experienced rapid growth reaching 94% in the Western European region.
In more detail, OPPO recorded stunning growth in Ireland (+444 YoY), Portugal (+354% YoY), Switzerland (+203% YoY), Germany (+154%) YoY, Italy (+111% YoY), Spain ( +73% YoY), and France (+71% YoY).
For the Romanian market, OPPO managed to become the third largest smartphone with an annual growth of 227% in 2021. OPPO recorded an annual growth of 42% in the Middle East and Africa market.
For the Mexican market, OPPO is ranked fifth as the best-selling smartphone brand in the country. OPPO's market share reaches 10% with an annual growth of 429% in 2021.
Canalys research also states that OPPO still remains in the fourth position as the best smartphone brand in the Asia Pacific market except China in 2021. OPPO also has a market share of 12% in Asia Pacific.
